We are seeking a detail-oriented Bilingual Staff Accountant (Korean/English) to join a growing accounting team. This role will support day-to-day accounting operations with a focus on accounts receivable, accounts payable, reconciliations, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate is organized, communicative, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Fully onsite in Mission Valley with a pay range from $65-75k annually
Responsibilities:
- Manage full-cycle accounts receivable and accounts payable processes, including invoice processing, collections, and vendor payments
- Monitor AR aging and proactively follow up on outstanding balances
- Review and resolve billing discrepancies, deductions, and payment issues
- Assist with month-end and year-end close activities, including reconciliations, journal entries, and reporting
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records for audit readiness
- Prepare regular financial reports and summaries for leadership
- Track and reconcile revenue and cost-related accounts, including COGS where applicable
- Support ongoing process improvements and help streamline accounting workflows
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely financial data
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Fluent in Korean and English (written and verbal)
- 3-5+ years of accounting experience
- Strong experience with accounts receivable and accounts payable processes
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, or similar accounting systems
- Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, formulas)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
